Cheray

About Cheary
Cheray started teaching private Pilates sessions and Bodhi classes at our original ALIGN on Lake Austin Blvd in October of 2019 and she began teaching classes at ALIGN East when it opened in September 2020. She moved solely to our ALIGN West studio in the summer of 2021. "I love that Pilates is always a challenge. The more you practice Pilates to me the harder it is. There is always something I'm working on to master, and that makes it so compelling!" Cheray is Balanced Body comprehensively certified and her teaching style is dynamic and adaptable to the clients in front of her. Her love of the traditional Pilates repertoire shines through in all of her sessions. However, her ability to keep her classes feeling fresh, new and always challenging make her classes go by in a flash. She moves you seamlessly the entire time and her classes flow from one move to another. “I want my students to be challenged and feel like each part of their body has been worked." Her advice to newbies: “Find an instructor that is invested in you and your progress. Pilates is meant for all bodies and fitness levels. An instructor can modify or increase difficulty to meet where your body is that day. Jump right in and enjoy the experience!”

About Claire
Claire completed her comprehensive Pilates certification through Pilates Sports Center in 2022. Her teaching style focuses on traditional pilates while incorporating modern knowledge and principals. In her classes she emphasizes the mind body connection, proper alignment and breath awareness. Claire believes that Pilates is more than just a workout, it’s an overall health and wellness approach. She wants her clients to feel stronger, more balanced and energized after her classes and for them to develop a deeper appreciation for movement. Ultimately she wants clients to leave her classes and privates feeling inspired to live a happy healthy lifestyle! When she is not teaching or taking pilates she is trying new places to eat and get a coffee, doing an outdoor activity, hanging out with friends and her sweet golden retriever, or traveling.
Mallory

About Mallory
With over three years of teaching experience, Mallory is a fully comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body at ALIGN. She is currently continuing her education through Cara Reeser’s Heritage Graduate Training Program. Mallory discovered Pilates after having her daughter, initially seeking to rebuild strength in her core and pelvic floor. What began as a personal journey quickly grew into a passion for helping others feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies. Her classes are designed to be both challenging and attainable, with thoughtful modifications and advancements offered so every client can feel successful and supported. Clients can expect a steady pace, a full-body workout, and intentional movement throughout each session. In addition to group classes, Mallory works closely with many injury-specific private clients, bringing a trained eye and adaptable approach into every class setting. She is committed to creating a safe, effective experience for every body in the room. What Mallory loves most about teaching Pilates is building meaningful relationships with her clients and watching their consistency turn into strength, confidence, and progress over time. Outside of the studio, Mallory enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, trying new restaurants, and getting lost in a good book.
Megan S

About Megan S
Megan teaches classes and private sessions at both of our ALIGN studio locations. She has been teaching movement in one form or another since 2004. First traveling across the country teaching dance and then Pilates starting in 2013. She is comprehensively certified through the Kane School in NYC. Megan loves Pilates because of "its accessibility - truly all you need is a mat. Once you've absorbed the principles, you'll be amazed at how many places in your everyday life you'll use it. Walking your dog, riding your bike, picking up your kids, playing tennis." Her advice to newbies is to "find a teacher that you resonate with and you feel is invested in your progress. Through the Pilates equipment, you'll learn and begin to embody these principles strengthening not only your body but your mind and compounding your results over time." Her teaching style is "mindful, inquisitive, playful, and focused on the quality of your movement as we work through each exercise laying down new neural pathways with each "a-ha!" moment that you have. I want people to feel like they are in their bodies not only during class but throughout the rest of their day. Things tend to fall into place after that."
Meghan

About Meghan
Meghan has been teaching Pilates for just over a year, though movement has been a lifelong passion. She grew up dancing and later taught both dance and barre before discovering Pilates. Her teaching style is intentional and grounded in helping people move in ways that support their everyday lives. She focuses on functional movement, alignment, and fluid transitions, creating classes that are both challenging and restorative. She hopes her clients leave each class feeling empowered, more connected to their bodies, and proud of what they’re capable of. Not just physically stronger, but mentally lighter and more confident. Outside the studio, Meghan loves being outdoors hiking, swimming at Barton Springs, or exploring Austin’s farmers markets and coffee shops. A creative at heart, she enjoys baking sourdough, crocheting, and making things by hand. When she’s not teaching, she works full-time in marketing.
